Salus Education, LLC is an eLearning company specializing in diabetes training. Specifically, we provide a web-based,
diabetes education and training program created specifically to help elementary and secondary schools comply with state and federal
requirements while creating a safe and supportive learning environment for students with diabetes.
During the design phase of our program, “Diabetes Care at School: Bridging the Gap,” it became clear that our selection of a
Learning Management System (LMS) would be a critical link to the future success of our program. In short, all LMSs are not created equally.
We recognized the importance of reliability, flexibility, affordability, scalability, and numerous other criteria that an LMS would have to
offer in order to meet our unique requirements. After researching dozens of LMS options, and interviewing several companies offering
LMS services, we selected TheAcademy.com’s LMS, Athena.

required to operate a complex LMS designed to our specifications, it also offered a culture of cooperation and teamwork that was ideal for us.
